- Separately from this upload, IBPS asks you to capture a live photo through your webcam or by scanning a QR code with your phone. That one is taken inside the portal — there is no file to resize.

- IBPS also requires a signature, a left thumb impression and a handwritten declaration, each at its own size. Links to all three are below.

Common questions
How many files does IBPS actually want?
Four images plus a certificate. A photograph at 200 × 230 px and 20–50 KB, a signature at 140 × 60 px and 10–20 KB, a left thumb impression at 240 × 240 px and 20–50 KB, and a handwritten declaration at 800 × 400 px and 50–100 KB. Your 10th standard certificate goes up separately as a PDF under 500 KB. On top of that you capture a live photo inside the portal.
The guide says 4.5 cm × 3.5 cm and also 200 × 230 pixels. Which do I follow?
The pixel figure. The centimetres describe a standard passport photo, and the two do not convert into each other exactly — 3.5 by 4.5 cm is a slightly narrower shape than 200 by 230 pixels. The upload validates against the pixel dimensions, so that is what this tool outputs.

IBPS blocks you from continuing until the photograph and signature both meet the specification. That is usually the file size — an unedited phone photo is several megabytes against a 50 KB limit. Resize both here first, then retry.
Can I wear spectacles in the photo?
Yes, provided there are no reflections and your eyes are clearly visible. Caps, hats and dark glasses are not accepted. Religious headwear is allowed as long as it does not cover your face.

These specifications come from the IBPS document upload guide, which applies across its recruitment — Clerk, Probationary Officer, Specialist Officer and RRB Office Assistant. Each notification can still add requirements, so check the one for your exam.
