Common questions
Why is 140 × 60 so small?
It is roughly 2.3 by 1 centimetres — a wide, short strip, matching the natural shape of a signature. Crop tightly around the writing first: leaving white margin around it shrinks the signature itself once the image is scaled down, and NABARD rejects unclear signatures.
My signature file is smaller than 10 KB.
That fails the minimum. Dark ink on white paper compresses extremely well, so a correctly cropped 140 × 60 signature routinely lands at 2–3 KB. This tool pads the file up to the 10 KB floor so it satisfies both bounds — most compressors only handle the ceiling.
Does NABARD accept blue ink?
For the signature it specifies a black ink pen. Blue is permitted for the thumb impression. The handwritten declaration must be black.
How many files does NABARD want in total?
Four images — photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration — plus your CV and proof of current CTC as PDFs of 500 KB, and a live photo captured inside the portal. Your application is not registered until all four images are uploaded to specification.
