NABARD handwritten declaration
The exact wording NABARD asks for, and a resizer that lands your scan at 800 × 400 px and 50–100 KB.
What the form actually requires
- File size
- 50 KB to 100 KB, JPG / JPEG
- Dimensions
- 800 × 400 pixels at 200 DPI (10 × 5 cm)
- Language
- English only. Written in any other language, the application is invalid.
- Handwriting
- Your own. Written or uploaded by anybody else, the application is invalid.
- Ink
- Black ink on plain white paper.
- Not capitals
- A declaration in CAPITAL LETTERS shall NOT be accepted.
- If you cannot write
- Visually impaired candidates may have the text typed and place their left-hand thumb impression below it, then upload that to the same specification.

The exact text to write
The same wording IBPS and LIC use. SBI's is different.
“I, __________ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
Replace the blank with your own name as it appears on your application. Write it in one continuous piece, not as a list, and keep it inside a strip roughly twice as wide as it is tall.

Common questions
Is the NABARD declaration the same as the IBPS one?
Yes — the same two sentences, reproduced above. LIC uses it too. SBI is the exception: its version inserts your date of birth after your name and adds a closing sentence about the signature, photograph and thumb impression. If you are applying to SBI as well, write that one separately.
My scan is over 100 KB. What do I do?
Use the tool above. It crops to 800 × 400 and searches for the highest quality that lands inside 50–100 KB. Scanning in greyscale rather than colour also helps, since the declaration is only black ink on white paper.
Why does my file end up below the 50 KB minimum?
Handwriting on white paper compresses very efficiently, so a clean scan often lands well under 50 KB and the portal rejects it as too small. This tool pads the file up to the floor so it satisfies both bounds.
What else does NABARD want besides the four images?
Your latest CV or resume and proof of your current cost to company, both as PDFs of 500 KB. Those are documents rather than photographs, so this tool does not handle them — but note the 500 KB limit applies to them too.
